Terri Butterworth

Terri Butterworth has been exhibiting her artwork around Australia, the US and Asia for over 30 years and continues to draw inspiration from the intensity of emotion she is able to convey with each brushstroke.

As a painter she strives to achieve expressive images which embody her feelings and a sense of place, mood and atmosphere.

Her work is heavily influenced by the landscape, her immediate environment, her deep love of colour and the notions of transience, interconnection and the perception of defined boundaries.

Terri's work hangs in numerous private and public art collections including those of KPMG, SBC Warburg, Renaissance Hotels, Park Royal Hotels and Pittwater Council.

Her paintings have been selected and commended in numerous prestigious art prizes and have won First Prize in the Australian Landscape Competition and The Warringah Art Prize.
