Barbara Goldin

Barbara GoldinHungarian-born Barbara Goldin grew up in South Africa and studied art at the Sorbonne University, Ecole des Beaux Arts, in Paris; where she also attended drawing classes and studied graphics at Ecole Superior des Arts Modernes.

On completion of her studies, Barbara returned to South Africa where she worked first as a graphic artist and then as a Gallery Manager whilst working to develop her own painting skills and style, in her spare time.

In 1978 Barbara emigrated to Australia, moving from Adelaide to Sydney in 1981 where she began teaching painting, drawing, illustration and ceramics at various art centres and undertook the first in a series of regular painting trips around Australia - which continue to this day.

Over the last 30 years Barabara has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Australia and South Africaand now features in private collections around Australia, South Africa, Canada and the US as well as in the Peter Stuyvesant Art Foundation and Touch Gallery collection in South Africa.
