World's First Underwater Art Exhibition on The Great Barrier Reef

In December 2013, Queensland Artist BJ Price staged the world's first Underwater Art Exhibition on The Great Barrier Reef.

In conjunction with Gallery V, a selection of BJ's reef-inspired paintings were transferred to metal and displayed on easles 4 metres below the ocean surface - adjacent to Reef Magic's dive platform, 1.5 hours off the coast of Cairns.

During the exhibition, snorkelers and divers were able to browse the underwater art gallery in the context of the coral forms and fish life that inspired their creation. Watch this space for a pending announcement on the arrival of this stunning exhibition in Sydney.
